Meant to be the story of Sidney
I think I was in Minot, ND but I’m not completely sure however I am sure were ever it was it was right were I was meant to be.
It was the opening prayer of a metaphysical fair that I was working. Myself, the other vendors and practitioners together with the host of the show were all gathered in a circle holding hands. Their were a lot of us so to make our circle we had to go around a few of the vendor booths. Precisely in the midle of our circle was a stone and crystal booth. When the opening blessing was finished I looked up and, there he was calling to me. He caught my eye and I knew we were destined to be together his name although I didn’t know it at the time was Sidney. He was beautiful with his colors and smooth look and the vibe he was putting out there felt as though it was for me alone. Sure he had obviously been hardened over many, many years by his enviornment and he was a little old and cold to the touch but that only added to his unique beauty. Although I didn’t know what to call him it didn’t matter after all his title was not important to me. I went over to say hello to him and soon realized he could not be mine at that time. You see I was a long way from home and in no shape to commit to him yet so I let go of him and went to my booth. I proceeded to work the day throwing glances his way whenever I had a chance.
The day went by and I worked with a lot of different energies and did my best to help those who stopped by my booth. About a half an hour before the show ended I found my self in a much better situation then when the day had started. I went back to find Sidney so we could start our life together. When I asked about him I was told he was gone. Someone else had been as taken by him as I was and now he was with her. I was crushed I thought for sure we were meant to be so with an exasperated sigh and a heavy heart I headed back to my booth.
When it was time to go I packed up my stuff and headed for the door the women who had told me Sidney was gone was standing there watching for me. In a very excited voice she said “Rose Rose Rose they brought it back!”. I was extactic she lead me back to her booth and there he was as though he had just been waiting for me.
Apparently the woman he had been with all day happened to be another vendor. After having sat with him at her booth she had decided that he wasn’t meant for her after all. Usually in such matters there are no returns but the vendor knew that Sidney had someone else who wanted him. So she allowed him to be traded for a beautiful piece of rose quartz. Sidney being (I think) a polychromatic jasper was very different then the piece of rose quartz that he was replaced with. I was so thankful it was another vendor who had purchased Sidney. I was told that she bought him early on in the day and I feel as though it was her job to keep him safe for me because had a guest bought him I never would have seen him again.
Sidney as well as Seera (an amazing piece of appetite) travel with me to all my shows as part of my oracle box and we are all very happy to be together.
I have always been told “if something is meant to be it will be” and “every one has a job to do even if you don’t realize what it is” but I didn’t truly believe it until Sidney.
